I'm Nancy Scott and I have always been fascinated with genealogical research. I love searching cemeteries for the final resting places of ancestors, digging through census's to trace migrations and souring old records to capture as many details as possible.
I'm publishing this blog to share the research that I have about my family. My goal is to provide as many factual details as possible along with my take on what their lives would have been like.
I was fortunate to receive my maternal grandmother's original genealogical research records on her family and heard many of the family stories from her. As I get older, I realize these stories need to be capture in written form and shared.
